'Blue micromoon' to be visible tonight: The science behind the phenomenon, explained

Tonight, you can see a "micromoon" that's also a "blue moon"! NASA said it will look "slightly smaller and dimmer than usual." This happens when a full moon occurs twice in one month, or when the moon is farthest from Earth. It's not super rare, happening every few years.
