'Zuckerberg should apologise for Modi reel removal or Meta will lose safe harbour', IT panel chief warns

Nishikant Dubey on Monday said Meta chief Mark Zuckerberg should apologise for removing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Facebook reel. The panel chief warned that Meta could lose its safe harbour protection under the IT Act. Meta officials said an algorithmic error caused the removal, but the committee remains very concerned.
