Union Minister of State for Railways and Jal Shakti V. Somanna will visit Shivamogga on Monday to review railway projects with Lok Sabha member B.Y. Raghavendra and senior officials of South Western Railway.
According to a communication from the South Western Railway, the review meeting will be held at the Circuit House in the city. The Minister will later inspect the road underbridge (RUB) work near Birur.
The proposed Shivamogga-Shikaripur-Ranebennur railway line, the demand for upgrading Bhadravathi railway station, and the construction of a coaching depot at Koteganguru are expected to come up for discussion at the meeting.
