Three weeks after UPSC sent panel to Punjab, suspense prevails over new DGP

Suspense prevails over the appointment of a new Punjab Police chief three weeks after the UPSC sent a panel of three officers. The state government has not announced a name yet. Officials said the state must appoint one person from the list, as there is no concept of acting DGP.
