Supreme Court grants bail to Jammu & Kashmir man booked under UAPA after five years in custody as undertrial

The Supreme Court let a young man from Jammu and Kashmir out on bail after he spent five years locked up as an undertrial. He was accused under UAPA for a plot to radicalize youth. The court noted he had been in jail a long time and said, "bail is the rule and jail is the exception."
