Punjab reverses stand, to roll out VB-G RAM G scheme from July

Punjab will now roll out the VB-G RAM G scheme from July 1, reversing its earlier stand. Six months ago, the Punjab Assembly had passed a resolution rejecting the Centre's new rural employment law. The government got this resolution passed, but now it will implement the VB-G RAM G Act, 2025.
