Polling for Punjab's Municipal bodies under way

Voting is happening today, May 26, 2026, for Punjab's 103 local bodies, including eight corporations. This is a big test before the 2027 Assembly polls. Officials said "elaborate arrangements have been made" for smooth voting. Over 7,500 candidates are running, with counting on May 29.
