Noida-Delhi bus gang-rape case: Vehicle had challans worth ₹63,000 pending over permit, safety and speed violations

The sleeper bus involved in the Noida-Delhi gang-rape case had 12 pending challans worth ₹63,000. These violations, recorded between May 11 and June 23, 2026, included speed limit breaches and permit issues. Despite these unpaid fines, the bus continued to operate. The vehicle also had non-functional CCTV cameras and illegal curtains.
