MP Governor approves Cabinet recommendation against prosecution of Minister Vijay Shah

Madhya Pradesh Governor Mangubhai Patel approved the state Cabinet’s recommendation against prosecuting Minister Kunwar Vijay Shah. The decision followed his controversial May 2025 remarks about Colonel Sofiya Qureshi. The government told the Supreme Court that the SIT probe finished, and the Governor’s approval effectively stops the case from moving forward.
