Maratha quota: Jarange ends fast after talks with govt delegation

Maratha quota activist Manoj Jarange ended his indefinite fast after talks with the Maharashtra government. He started his hunger strike on Saturday, May 30, 2026. The government gave him a 12-point proposal, agreeing to provide certificates based on identified Kunbi records. Jarange said the government promised financial aid for families of those who died for the cause.
