Mamata's plea against EC freeze on TMC name, symbol to come up in SC this week

The Supreme Court agreed to list Mamata Banerjee’s plea against the Election Commission’s freeze on the TMC name and symbol this week. Kapil Sibal argued, "Something extraordinary has happened." The poll panel recently assigned new symbols for upcoming bypolls. Both sides will get a chance to present their arguments soon.
