Madurai Corporation to give Anna Bus Stand land to Govt. Rajaji Hospital for establishing integrated regional cancer centre

The Madurai Corporation said on Monday it would hand over 86 cents of land to Government Rajaji Hospital for a new cancer centre. The land price is fixed at ₹5,000 per square foot. Councillors said the centre was essential as it would ensure people need not travel long distances.
