Karnataka BJP President Demands CBI Probe Into Hanur Shootout

Karnataka BJP president B.Y. Vijayendra demanded a CBI probe into the August 15 Hanur shootout that killed three suspected poachers. He said, "The Hanur shootout case should immediately be handed over to the CBI." Vijayendra also sought Rs 1 crore compensation for the families and questioned the forest department's actions.
