Justice Mishra's appointment as Punjab & Haryana HC chief delayed; AAP govt yet to respond

The Punjab government has not responded to the Supreme Court collegium’s August 6 recommendation to appoint Justice Ashwani Kumar Mishra as the Punjab and Haryana High Court chief justice. Officials said the state is still gathering relevant inputs. Justice Mishra has served as the acting chief justice since June 2.
