India discusses agricultural collaboration with Taliban government of Afghanistan

The Taliban administration of Afghanistan discussed agricultural cooperation with India during a visit ending July 12, 2026. Minister Abdullah Omari met Indian officials to explore trade, irrigation, and crop productivity. India said it remains committed to supporting Afghanistan’s agricultural sector through cooperation in climate-resilient and bio-fortified crop varieties for food security.
