High Court rejects Abhishek Banerjee's foreign travel plea for eye treatment

The Calcutta High Court on Wednesday dismissed Trinamool MP Abhishek Banerjee’s plea to travel abroad for eye treatment. Justice Saugata Bhattacharya ordered a three-member medical board at SSKM Hospital to examine him on Thursday. The court said it would consider foreign travel only if the treatment is unavailable in India.
