GIFT City invitation, uranium supply arrangement marks Indian PM Modi's Tashkent visit

India and Uzbekistan upgraded ties to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership on Sunday. PM Modi and President Mirziyoyev agreed on long-term uranium supplies and a $5 billion trade target by 2030. "We will move forward by setting concrete goals within this framework," said PM Modi, inviting Uzbekistan to study GIFT City.
