CJI Surya Kant declines NALSAR convocation invite amid student row, BCI controversy

Chief Justice of India Surya Kant declined to attend the NALSAR University of Law convocation. He said, “The question of me attending the convocation does not arise.” Students had opposed his presence due to recent court cases. The Bar Council of India later withdrew its controversial intervention in the matter.
