Back-to-back blows: Actor-politician Koel Mallick quits Rajya Sabha, adding to TMC crisis

Actor-politician Rukmini Mallick resigned from the Rajya Sabha on Thursday, adding to the TMC crisis. She submitted her resignation to Chairman C P Radhakrishnan after serving for only a few months. Mallick said, "I do hereby resign from the membership of Rajya Sabha," but gave no reasons for her sudden exit.
