Amritsar Rural SSP among 11 IPS officers transferred in Punjab

Punjab government on Monday transferred 11 IPS officers. Amritsar Rural SSP Suhail Qasim Mir was among them, posted as AIG Personnel-I. His transfer followed a press conference about an FIR. Kanwardeep Singh got additional charge of Amritsar Rural SSP. "These transfers have been done purely on administrative grounds," said a functionary.
