Ninety-four-year-old Kondragunta Mahalakshmamma renounced her US citizenship to spend her final days in India. Originally from Bapatla district, she approached officials on Wednesday, requesting expedited Indian citizenship. She expressed her wish to die as an Indian and have her last rites performed in her native village.
