Tamil Nadu Approaches Supreme Court Over Cauvery Water Dispute With Karnataka

The Tamil Nadu government moved the Supreme Court on Monday over the Cauvery water dispute with Karnataka. The state said the water released by its neighbour was insufficient. As of August 3, Karnataka reservoirs held 77.537 TMC of water. Officials said, "The Cauvery Water Management Authority order allocating 4.536 TMC is very less."
