Supreme Court to hear Tarun Tejpal's plea seeking exemption from surrender in 2013 rape case tomorrow

The Supreme Court will hear Tarun Tejpal’s plea seeking exemption from surrender in his 2013 rape case on Tuesday. The Bombay High Court previously sentenced him to 10 years in prison. Solicitor General Tushar Mehta said, "It was mandatory for an appellant to surrender to enable hearing of his appeal."
