SC questions two-child norm. 23 yrs ago, it upheld this very rule

The Supreme Court questioned the validity of the two-child policy norm. The bench said, “What kind of useless policy is this? Javed Vs State of Haryana needs reconsideration. The country has changed.” This rule previously disqualified people from panchayat roles. The court posted the matter for hearing on 28 July.
