SC hands probe in Noida land compensation to UP vigilance

The Supreme Court handed the Noida land compensation probe to the UP vigilance wing. A bench led by CJI BR Gavai said, “The SIT is absolved of further responsibility.” The court noted that the cases need experts in economic offences. The SIT previously identified 12 officials involved in illegal payouts.
