Samay raina fined ₹3L for defying undertaking to Supreme Court

The Supreme Court on Tuesday fined comedian Samay Raina and four others ₹3 lakh for defying an undertaking. The bench said, “You are now taking the court for a ride.” They failed to support people with spinal muscular atrophy as promised. The court ordered payment within two weeks to avoid action.
