Red Fort rings with Vande Mataram as India marks I-Day

India marked its 80th Independence Day at the Red Fort as the national song "Vande Mataram" played from the ramparts. Prime Minister Narendra Modi hoisted the flag while nearly 5,000 special guests watched. "I live very close to the Red Fort, and it rains almost every year," said Yash Rawat.
