Plea for affordable drug listed 57 times in High Court, patient dies before hearing

The Supreme Court on Friday took suo motu cognisance of a delay in the Kerala High Court regarding a plea for affordable breast cancer drugs. The case was listed 57 times over four years, but the petitioner died before a decision. The lawyer said, "It was now too late."
