Pact born out of Partition: The Indus Waters Treaty, why India rejects The Hague tribunal & its ruling

India on Monday rejected a ruling by a five-member Court of Arbitration in The Hague regarding the 1960 Indus Waters Treaty. New Delhi said the tribunal was illegally constituted and has no jurisdiction over its sovereign decisions. India asserted that the panel’s decisions will have no effect on its actions.
