Nepal flood death toll crosses 1,000, nearly 4,000 remain out of contact

The death toll from last week's devastating floods in Nepal has crossed 1,000, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority said on Tuesday. Nearly 4,000 people remain out of contact as search teams continue to recover bodies. Over 21,000 security personnel got deployed to help those affected by floods.
