More than 43 lakh people affected in 14 districts as flood wreaks havoc in Bihar

Over 43 lakh people have been affected by floods in 14 districts of Bihar, officials said on Thursday. Heavy rain and overflowing rivers caused this crisis across 85 blocks. The government started 951 community kitchens and deployed 37 rescue teams to help those who got stuck in the rising water.
