India must uphold Indus Waters Treaty, international court rules: What was this case moved by Pakistan
The Court of Arbitration at The Hague ruled that the 1960 Indus Waters Treaty remains fully in force. It rejected India’s decision to place the agreement in abeyance after the Pahalgam terror attack. The court also directed India to temporarily restrict some construction work on the Ratle hydro-electric plant project.
