India engages US over stricter visa rules affecting Indian students, visitors

India said on Friday that it is engaging with US authorities to minimise difficulties for Indian nationals after the Trump administration unveiled stricter visa rules. These changes, starting in September, limit how long students and visitors can stay. India said, "We take those issues with the US side."
