India calls for more predictable regulatory environment in Brazil to boost pharma exports

India asked Brazil for a more predictable regulatory environment to boost pharmaceutical exports, the Commerce Ministry said on Monday (August 31, 2026). Officials met in Brasilia to discuss market access. Both nations also agreed to expand their existing trade pact with the Mercosur bloc to help grow their bilateral trade.
