India bans cross-border transportation of Ebola-infected human remains under strict new biosecurity rules

India has banned bringing Ebola-infected bodies into the country. New rules say these remains need special double packaging and cremation. Traditional funeral rites are forbidden to stop the virus from spreading. The health ministry said, "cross-border transportation of the HRs of confirmed/suspected EVD cases into India is prohibited."
