An INDIA bloc delegation led by Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge met President Droupadi Murmu on Tuesday to demand a return to paper ballots. They sought the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar over alleged vote theft. Rahul Gandhi said, "The President sought evidence, which the bloc would provide."

An INDIA bloc delegation led by Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge met President Droupadi Murmu over allegations of electoral irregularities and demanded Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar's resignation. The Opposition sought suspension of the SIR exercise, restoration of 13.3 crore deleted voters, a return to paper ballots and action over alleged vote theft. Rahul Gandhi said the President sought evidence, which the bloc would provide. The Opposition plans to submit a memorandum to Chief Justice of India Surya Kant on Monday.
