Himanta Sarma Visits Flood-Hit Areas; Compensation To Begin After August 9

Himanta Sarma visited flood-hit areas in Nazira, Mahmora, and Sonari on Monday to assess damage. He said government officials would start visiting households from August 9 to check losses. The compensation process will follow this assessment. He also promised health camps and help for farmers to restart their agricultural work.
