Gautam Budh Nagar upgraded its flood response to protect vulnerable areas after the Yamuna discharge reached 6,869 cusecs on Monday. Officials started inspecting flood control posts and shelters. “Monsoon preparedness is carried out every year to ensure all departments are ready to respond promptly if required,” said engineer BK Singh.
