Does revenue entry mean property ownership? What Supreme Court said over MP's joint family dispute

The Supreme Court ruled on 20 August that revenue entries do not prove property ownership. Justice Sanjay Karol and Justice Augustine George Masih said, "A right in immovable property cannot be treated as having been voluntarily abandoned merely because a revenue entry subsequently appears in favour of another person."
