Declare 185 acres of land as ‘forest’, SC urges Delhi govt

The Supreme Court urged the Delhi government to declare 185 acres of land as forest. A bench headed by CJI Surya Kant said, “The process to notify the 18 parcels of land as forest shall also be initiated.” This move aims to protect the area from future exploitation and illegal encroachment.
