The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) has said its nationwide protest demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar will continue, regardless of whether its leaders are present. The statement comes after Delhi Police detained CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke and co-convenors Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka aboard their flight after it landed in the national capital. Security arrangements remain extensive across Delhi, with barricades, movement restrictions and multiple detentions reported ahead of the planned demonstration at Jantar Mantar. The party says the agitation will go ahead despite the detention of its leadership.
