Southern Railway's Vande Bharat trains saw boosted ridership and revenue after a 15-minute current booking rule started. In FY26, these trains carried 77.38 lakh passengers, earning Rs 803.86 crore. The first two months of FY27 saw 15.21 lakh passengers and Rs 162.96 crore.
