Ukraine has welcomed India's latest peace proposal aimed at securing a ceasefire in the Russia-Ukraine war, which began in February 2022. Kyiv has described India's initiative as the broadest among four proposals currently on the table. New Delhi has consistently advocated dialogue and diplomacy to resolve the conflict. Russian President Vladimir Putin has also acknowledged India's efforts, saying Prime Minister Narendra Modi has "very good ideas" for finding a mutually acceptable solution and thanking him for his push to advance peace.
