Sunil Singhania-led Abakkus Mutual Fund and JioBlackRock Mutual Fund filed draft documents with Sebi for three funds each. These six proposed launches include three active and three passive funds. Sunil Singhania-founded Abakkus Mutual Fund and JioBlackRock Mutual Fund have filed draft scheme documents with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) for three funds each, taking the total number of proposed launches to six.

Abakkus Mutual Fund will launch Abakkus Dynamic Asset Allocation Fund, Abakkus Aggressive Hybrid Fund and Abakkus Arbitrage Fund. The minimum application amount for lumpsum investment in all three funds will be Rs 500 and in multiples of Re 1 thereafter. For monthly SIP, the minimum application amount in these three funds will be Rs 500 and in multiples of Re 1 thereafter, with a minimum of six instalments.

Abakkus Dynamic Asset Allocation Fund will be an open-ended dynamic asset allocation fund investing in debt and equity instruments only. The performance will be benchmarked against

CRISIL Hybrid 50+50 - Moderate Index and will be managed by Sanjay Doshi and Abhishek Krishnaswami Srinivas.

The fund will invest 10-90% in equity and equity-related instruments, including foreign/overseas securities and 10-90% in debt and money market instruments, including units of debt-oriented mutual fund schemes.

The product will be suitable for investors who are seeking long-term capital appreciation and want investment in a dynamically managed portfolio of equity and equity-related instruments (including derivatives) and debt and money market securities only.

Abakkus Aggressive Hybrid Fund

Abakkus Aggressive Hybrid Fund will be an open-ended hybrid scheme investing predominantly in equity and equity-related instruments. The performance will be benchmarked against CRISIL Hybrid 35+65 - Aggressive Index and will be managed by Pratish Krishnan Kolleri and Abhishek Krishnaswami Srinivas.

The fund will allocate 65-80% in equity and equity-related instruments, including foreign/overseas securities, 20-35% in fixed income securities (debt and money market instruments), 0-15% in exchange-traded commodity derivatives (ETCDs), Gold ETFs and Silver ETFs, and 0-10% in units issued by InvITs.
