Subhash Chandra's dissenting lenders Canara Bank, Union Bank move NCLAT against NCLT order

Canara Bank and Union Bank moved the NCLAT on Monday against an NCLT order approving Subhash Chandra’s personal insolvency plan. Lenders argued the Rs 6.5 crore payout against Rs 22,006.57 crore claims was unviable. Solicitor General Tushar Mehta said it will "defeat the very purpose of the Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code."
