Torrent Power's subsidiary Torrent Saurya Urja 2 has cancelled a 300 MW wind power purchase agreement with the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI).

The PPA was terminated due to delays related to external infrastructure and force majeure. SECI had extended the project deadline several times.

The company said the PPA was cancelled amid uncertainty over the project's implementation. Torrent Saurya Urja 2 will have to pay around Rs 39.78 crore as liquidated damages for the termination.

Ola Electric's board approved the terms of its Rs 1,000 crore rights issue.

The company will issue 37.02 crore shares at Rs 27 per share, representing a 25.6 per cent discount. The rights issue will be offered in the ratio of two rights shares for every 25 shares held.

October 13 has been fixed as the record date. The issue will remain open from October 22 to October 30.
