Russia's oil major says US companies benefit from the closure of the Strait of Hormuz

Rosneft CEO Igor Sechin said on Saturday that U.S. energy companies are benefiting most from the Strait of Hormuz closure. He believes Washington is altering global energy markets "to suit U.S. interests." Sechin also noted OPEC+ has weakened with member withdrawals, and warned other vital shipping routes could face similar disruptions.
