Rupee records biggest single day fall in a month

Rupee fell sharply on Monday, its biggest single day fall in a month. High crude oil prices and a stronger dollar weighed on the currency. The rupee closed at 95.71 per US dollar. Earlier, the RBI's measures had boosted the rupee, with experts saying the central bank "laid the groundwork for attracting foreign capital."
