Rupee falls 19 paise to close at 95.61 against US dollar

The rupee fell 19 paise to close at 95.61 against the US dollar on Monday. Weak domestic equity markets and rising crude oil prices pressured the currency. Anuj Choudhary said, "we expect the rupee to trade with a slight negative bias." The dollar index also showed a minor change today.
