Vedika Narvekar, research analyst, ommodities & currencies, Anand Rathi Share and Stock Brokers, says, "Gold is holding steady around $4,140 an ounce, as markets weigh a stronger dollar and rising yields against the Fed's rate path. The dollar is near its highest level this year, helped by a bond selloff in France that's got markets watching for signs of wider contagion in Europe. Treasury yields, meanwhile, keep pushing to multi-decade highs, and a US services inflation report just showed cost pressures growing at their fastest pace in over four years."
